What they are. Cut-aways built from geometry - true enough to teach with, simple enough to print clean - every structure its own part in its own colour, printed together on the plinth. The eye is a sagittal half: cornea, iris and pupil, the lens behind, the retina lining the back, the optic nerve leaving. The molar is cut through both roots: enamel over dentin over the pulp and its canals, the gum and the bone around. The spine is three vertebrae and two discs - annulus and nucleus - with the canal open behind. The key on the plinth numbers what the doctor points at.
