We leave off the notes, dimension strings and labels (they'd make as blobs) and keep the drawing; hairline hatching goes too. If your sheet says what it was drawn at we read it and tell you the plaque's own scale; if not, you can pick it. A scan or a photo of a piece works, traced from its pixels.
