Chess Set

A full 32-piece chess set on a board that stores itself. Two piece styles — classic Staunton or clean modern — in your colours; a two-colour board with a shallow socket under every square so the pieces stay put; and two drawers underneath, one for each side, that slide out from opposite edges with every piece in its own pocket. Nothing to unsnap, nothing to lose.

The dark squares are inlaid flush in their own colour; the light squares are the board's.

Letters, numbers, spaces, and basic punctuation only. Engraved into the front of the light pieces' drawer.

A line of small type along the board's near edge, raised in the labels colour: your name, your cafe, your club. It takes the place of the near edge's file letters.
