How it is made. The basket is a bowl — a flat floor, then a quarter-ellipse up to the rim — with a 2.4 mm wall and a 3 mm floor. The holes go through the floor in rings and up the lower half of the wall in rows, each one cut straight through the surface; slots run out from the centre like spokes and up the wall along the meridians. A foot ring underneath lifts it 8 mm so it drains onto the counter, not into itself. The lugs are 44 mm flat ears, 4 mm thick, at the rim. The catch bowl is the same shape 6 mm bigger and a little shorter, so the basket's rim sits just proud of it.
PLA Pure. Plain PLA — a plant-based plastic — with nothing added but the colour. Fine with fruit and cold or warm water. Hand-wash; not the dishwasher, never hot water — PLA softens above about 60 °C.
Sizes. Small 16 cm, $16 (with bowl $26). Medium 20 cm, $22 ($34). Large 24 cm, $28 ($42). Shallow is a third as tall as it is wide; deep is half.
