The globe is two hemisphere shells that meet at the equator on a rabbet (lap) joint — a lip on the northern shell nests into a matching groove on the southern shell, keeping the land/ocean seam aligned all the way around. This joint is registration only, not a snap-fit: Anoor bonds it permanently during assembly, so it's never meant to be reopened. Both pole tips seat into a half-meridian arc stand that's tilted to Earth's real 23.44° axial tilt — the same obliquity that actually gives Earth its seasons, not a decorative angle.
