The blueprints
Download the blueprint set (PDF)What the drawings are. Rooms are laid out as interior dimensions on a half-foot grid; the plan adds 6-inch exterior walls and 4½-inch interior walls, shows every door with its swing and every window on an outside wall, labels each room with its size and area, and runs dimension strings along the top and left. The elevations are the model's own silhouettes with the openings that face each side. Scales are true architectural scales (1/4", 1/8" …) on letter sheets. These are design drawings for planning and gifts, not construction documents — an architect or engineer stamps those.
