How it is built. The name is the hanger. Each letter is 8 mm thick and its feet sink into the rail, and a thin bar along the baseline ties any letters that don't already touch, so the name carries the weight as one piece. The rail runs straight under the name, then slopes down to rounded ends that turn up a touch, the way a good wooden hanger does, so a strap has something to catch on. The hook rises from behind the middle letter and clears the tallest one.
Sizes. Baby is 240 mm across — newborn to about four. Kids is 300 mm — four to twelve. Both hang from a standard rod. Printed flat on the bed, so the layers run along the rail and it flexes before it ever snaps; a small jacket, a dress, a costume. Not for heavy winter coats.
Two colours. The letters print in one colour and the rail and hook in another, in one go. Pick a pale rail and a bright name, or match the room.
