How it's made. Two printed parts in PLA, no supports: the base with its arm in one piece (170 mm across, a chamfered edge, the name wrapped 1.2 mm into the side), and a 28 mm post with a domed knob whose spigot pushes into the base's socket — a snug fit, a drop of glue if you want it permanent. The arm is 6 mm thick and 205 mm tall, leaning in 8 mm from foot to tip; a fresh 11-inch roll pushes it out about 6 mm, which is around four newtons of tension — enough to hold the roll while you tear, light enough to drop a new roll on without a fight. As the roll shrinks the arm relaxes, the way it should. Fits a standard 11-inch roll; the roll stands a little proud of the knob, as on any holder.
