Piggy Bank

A real hollow piggy bank in one of two shapes — a Classic Pig (snout, ears, tail, four legs) or a plain rounded Barrel — with a coin slot across the top and a real screw-thread plug in the base. Twist the plug a half-turn and your coins come out; no smashing, no glue. Printed and tested by hand. Pick a shape, a body color, an accent color for the plug, and optionally engrave a name into the side.

How you get the coins out. The base of the body carries a threaded socket, and the plug that screws into it is a real 2-start trapezoidal thread — the exact same thread our Pencil Case's twist-lock lid already uses, printed and proven, just cut at a smaller radius (19 mm) to suit a plug. Two starts means the thread engages in half a turn: twist the plug 180° and it's off, twist it back and it's seated flush. It's a genuine screw, not a snap-fit, and not a smash-to-open design.

What prints. The Barrel prints as two pieces — the hollow body (with its socket) and the plug. The Classic Pig prints as three — the body, the plug, and one accent piece carrying the snout, both ears, and the tail, each of which nests flush into its own matching cavity cut out of the body. The plug always takes the accent color, so on the pig the plug and the face match.
