Scanner Mount

Where the handheld lives when it isn't in a hand. A cradle sized to the device — Zebra TC5x or TC2x, Honeywell CT40/45, or any handheld by its width and thickness — with side rails, a bottom lip and a cable slot so it charges in place, for a wall or a desk. Or a wall hook that a pistol-grip scanner drops into. A dock number or a name set into the front.

In capitals, set flush into the front in the label color.

Built for a shift, not a shelf. A 4 mm back plate, 3.5 mm rails, a 26 mm front lip with a 14 mm cable slot so the charging cable stays plugged in. Wall mounts hang on two screws through keyholes; desk mounts lean back 20° on a built-in kickstand. The pistol-grip hook is a 34 mm loop on 12 mm arms that the grip's neck drops into, the scanner's head resting on top. Each prints in one piece with no supports.
