What we trace. Whatever is ink on the page — letters, arrows, a logo — becomes the raised layer; the page becomes the plate. Strokes finer than about a millimetre can't be printed and are left out, so a page of small type is best on the large plate, and a sign with a few big words looks best of all. Every upload is looked at by a person before it prints. Photos: we find the sign in the shot and square it up, but a straight-on photo in even light traces far better than an angled one. PLA, two colors, keyhole slots or double-sided tape on the back.
